Basal Cell Carcinoma is the most common type of skin cancer out of the the three skin cancers. It starts on the top layer of the skin (the epidermis), and it usually results due to excessive sun or ultraviolet radiation exposure.
This may include the scalp, neck, hands, arms, and face.
BCC (Basal Cell Carcinoma) grows slowly and is usually painless.
It can be a bit difficult to identify the diseases since it often looks like a normal pimple or a scab on the skin. Basal Cell carcinoma rarely ever spreads to other parts of the body, however, if left untreated it can become locally invasive and start to destroy surrounding muscles and nerves that could potentially cause disfigurement and malfunctioning to the patient.
